What it takes to make a rag quilt set
1. I like to use 100% cotton fabrics on the front of the quilt, but I do occasionally incorporate flannel as well. I use the same fabrics to make the pillows and burp cloths as well.
2. The back of each quilt is always made with soft cozy flannel, unless specified otherwise. The back of the pillow and burp cloths is made with flannel too.
3. I use flannel in between each quilt block on the quilt and pillow. It adds warmth and helps making the ragging ends appear more fluffy. I use 3 to 4 layers of flannel on each burp cloth.
4. I wash and dry each rag quilt, pillow, and burp cloth to help start the ragging process.
5. I leave the ragging ends extra long so that the ragging parts are super fluffy. I have smaller ragging ends on the burp cloths.

Depending on the quality and type of fabrics that are chosen in a quilt, prices will fluctuate. Before I start on a quilt, I will give you an exact quote.
